Konstantina graduated from National Technical University of Athens with a bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering and then, from Université Paris-Descartes with master in Biomedical Engineering. At the same time, she worked for INSERM in a pre-clinical project aiming at the discovery of new cancer biomarkers using in-vivo multimodal image analysis.
Since May 2020, she has joined VUB as part of TumorScope Project, in collaboration with UZ Brussels and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Wim Vranken, Prof. Dr. Sonia Van Dooren and Dr. Catharina Olsen. Using Machine Learning she expects to standardize personalized treatments and improve prediction of patient prognosis and response to therapy.
